Temporary Works Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Construction is seeking a Temporary Works Manager to lead the design, coordination and technical assurance of all temporary works required for safe bridge construction, including marine and over‑water structures, in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination and delivery of temporary works such as cofferdams, falsework, formwork, launching gantries, piling templates, lifting systems and access structures.
• Develop safe, efficient and constructible solutions that meet project specifications, codes and safety standards.
• Review design briefs, engineering requirements and construction methodologies to define scope and objectives.
• Ensure integration of temporary works with permanent works design and construction sequencing.
• Liaise with permanent works designers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Establish the temporary works design basis, incorporating all construction loads.
• Participate in project risk workshops.

Required profile

• 15 years total experience, with at least 10 years in a similar temporary works management position.
• Strong structural engineering knowledge of temporary works systems in marine and offshore environments.
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional level English.
