Tax Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Analyst to support global tax and compliance activities for a leading luxury resale platform. The role focuses on indirect tax compliance, tax governance, business partnering, and cross‑border transaction support across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VAT compliance for EU, UK, Netherlands and other jurisdictions, including registrations, filings and ongoing compliance.
• Review VAT treatment of B2B and B2C marketplace transactions, cross‑border sales, imports/exports, intra‑EU stock movements and dropshipping models.
• Coordinate with external advisors on VAT matters and support tax authority audits, reviews and information requests.
• Monitor VAT recovery opportunities and input‑VAT recoverability.
• Maintain the tax governance tracker and compliance calendar, monitoring actions, dependencies, risks and deadlines.
• Prepare tax governance meeting materials, status updates and management reports.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Logistics, Legal, Treasury, Tech teams and external advisors to provide operational tax support.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of indirect tax, particularly VAT, across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience coordinating with external tax advisors and supporting tax audits.
• Ability to monitor compliance calendars, track risks and ensure timely escalations.
• Comfort working remotely with flexible hours to align with international teams.
