Tax Accountant – Big Four Experience (Hybrid, Manila)

About the role

Join a pioneering tax team partnered with a leading Australian Big Four accounting firm. As a Tax Accountant you will work on sophisticated Australian tax matters, strategic transactions and advisory projects while enjoying a hybrid work‑from‑home setup based in Makati.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian income tax returns and technical advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on GST and complex tax issues.
• Support business structuring, cross‑border transactions and indirect tax projects.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements and IPO‑related tax matters.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on reviews, audits and dispute resolution.
• Apply legislative updates to client engagements and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Australian accounting, taxation or advisory services.
• Background in Australian public‑practice accounting.
• Experience handling SME to mid‑market clients with turnover of AUD 5 M–100 M+.
