Systems and Database Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Systems and Database Administrator to ensure the high availability, performance, and security of our on‑premise and cloud IT infrastructure. The role involves daily operations, system upgrades, database management, backup and recovery, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including patch management and security hardening.
• Manage relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and perform performance tuning.
• Design and implement backup, replication, and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and produce documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in system and/or database administration.
• Proven experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
