DPS IA Senior Developer

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Services is seeking a Senior Automation Specialist to design robust intelligent automation solutions for the Finance function of the Orthopaedics Business. The role involves leading automation design, development, deployment and mentoring both citizen developers and IA team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end automation design, development, testing, deployment and L2/L3 production support following the GS Finance IA delivery methodology.
• Translate business processes into technical designs, recommend appropriate technologies, and create a reusable inventory of automation assets.
• Conduct design and code reviews for peers and citizen developers, ensuring adherence to standards and quality.
• Assess and procure IA tools, evaluate technology fit, and drive continuous improvement of development standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Data Science, AI Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years experience in a shared‑service finance environment developing intelligent automation solutions.
• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, strong collaboration and communication skills, and experience as a solution architect/lead developer.

Required skills

• Advanced Python and VBA programming.
• Alteryx, SQL, UiPath RPA, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Microsoft Copilot and other Gen‑AI platforms.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, Salesforce and with data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Kafka, Informatica).
• Strong MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams).
