About the role

Analog Devices, a global semiconductor company, is hiring a Strategic Buyer to lead sourcing and supplier management for assigned commodities. The role drives value through complex negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decisions and continuous supplier performance improvement, always with the company's best interest in mind.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and run complex commercial and strategic negotiations for assigned commodities, securing optimal cost, quality, delivery and risk outcomes.
• Co-develop sourcing and procurement requirements with internal customers, from RFQ and concept through PR-to-PO execution.
• Own the end-to-end supplier selection process, including evaluation, recommendation and onboarding.
• Lead cross-functional projects with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality and other functions.
• Gather, analyse and interpret data to support negotiations and sourcing decisions, presenting insights clearly.
• Maintain and review the approved supplier base, and ensure data integrity of supplier and material records (pricing, currency, master data).
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute commodity strategies.
• Drive supplier performance improvement by defining KPIs, monitoring results and implementing corrective actions.
• Create presentation materials (PowerPoint, Excel, charts, dashboards) and prepare procurement and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Policy.

For positions needing access to technical data, export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce and/or the U.S. Department of State may be required, so non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents may undergo an export licensing review. The role requires no travel, normal time, and is based in the Philippines.
