Business Development Manager - Hotel Sales

About the role

Exely is a global IT company offering online solutions and websites for the hotel industry, helping hoteliers increase direct sales and automate operations. It is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager based in Metro Manila, Philippines, who will own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on customer acquisition. After a training and adaptation period of about 3 months, the expectation is to bring in at least five hotels per month.

Key responsibilities

• Travel frequently to meet hotel managers, with about 70% of the work being face-to-face meetings with hoteliers
• Generate leads through cold calling, cold meetings, events and with the help of the marketing team
• Handle incoming leads and convert them into customers
• Build trusted relationships with hospitality professionals and attend events as a representative of Exely
• Provide market research to the management team
• Work diligently with the CRM

Required profile

• Based in Metro Manila, Philippines
• Excellent communication skills, including willingness to make phone calls and cold visits and to handle objections
• Fluent in Filipino and advanced English
• Sales skills and experience in active sales
• Experience in TravelTech (OTAs, channel managers, booking software or other hospitality SaaS) is a big plus
• BIR Form 2303 or self-employed registration is required; unregistered candidates must register before joining
