Software Engineer (Java/Spring) – CloudPay Platform

About the role

CloudPay is looking for an energetic and collaborative Software Engineer to help define, build, maintain, and enhance the customer experience on its global payroll platform. You will work with a diverse, worldwide team, using modern tools and agile practices to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and implement new platform capabilities.
• Provide technical support for existing functionalities in the production environment.
• Uphold code standards through reviews, refactoring, and peer mentoring.
• Identify and remediate issues affecting code quality, functionality, or business performance.
• Document new or updated features as they are released.
• Participate actively in all agile ceremonies to deliver usable functionality.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Java 17 and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React.
• Comfortable working with relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Familiarity with development and CI/CD tools like Maven, Bamboo, Git, JIRA, and Bitbucket.
• Skilled in application performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent logical thinking, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and thrive under tight deadlines and fast‑paced release schedules.
