Senior Developer (Oracle SQL, Java, Spring Boot)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong Oracle SQL and Java/Spring Boot expertise to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications. You will work across Oracle Database, backend services, and web applications in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Oracle Database and modern web technologies.
• Write, analyze and optimise complex Oracle SQL queries for data processing, reporting and performance.
• Support and modernise legacy applications, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues across application, database, API and integration layers.
• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and web components (JavaScript, HTML, optionally React).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and CI/CD practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and API specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, QA teams and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proactive with ability to understand complex applications and propose practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Accountable for solution quality, able to identify risks and follow issues to resolution.

Required skills

• Oracle SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations).
• Java development with Spring Boot.
• Oracle Database knowledge and relational data modeling.
• REST API design and implementation.
• JavaScript, HTML (experience with React or NextJS is a plus).
• API authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT).
• CI/CD pipelines and source control.
• Agile (sprint‑based) software development lifecycle.
