Social Media Manager (Video-First)

About the role

Hunt St helps Australian companies hire remote talent in the Philippines. Its client, a leading Sydney property advisory business building its first internal marketing function, is looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Manager to own content production from concept to publication. This is a video-first, fully remote role paid $1,800-$2,200 AUD per month under an independent contractor agreement, with flexible hours around the client's business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content ideas aligned with the brand, audience and marketing objectives
• Write scripts for short-form video and edit videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
• Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and create highlight clips
• Schedule and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify
• Write captions and repurpose podcast transcripts into LinkedIn articles and SEO-optimised blog content
• Manage the full publishing process, maintain a consistent schedule and follow brand guidelines
• Engage with followers and manage ManyChat workflows, including posting reels with lead magnets

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media accounts and content calendars
• Experience creating content for video-first platforms and writing scripts, captions and long-form content
• Experience repurposing long-form content into multiple formats
• Excellent written and spoken English, highly organised and able to meet multiple deadlines independently
• Preferred: podcast editing, SEO content writing, LinkedIn content strategy, remote work with international clients

Required skills

• Strong video editing for short-form and long-form content
• Content scheduling and social media management tools
• Familiarity with AI tools that improve content workflows
