Social Media Manager – Recruitment & HR Industry

About the role

A well-established Australian recruitment and HR business with about 30 years of industry experience is looking for a creative, proactive Social Media Manager. The role focuses initially on LinkedIn content and a consistent social media presence, with some support for Instagram. It is a part-time position starting at 10 hours per week, with a target start date of early October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's LinkedIn presence, with some support for Instagram
• Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
• Create posts on recruitment and hiring trends, current job opportunities, industry insights, blogs, company updates and employer/brand content
• Write engaging captions and copy, and design high-quality graphics and visual content
• Explore video, motion graphics and other engaging formats, and schedule posts regularly
• Review existing content, research competitors and industry trends, and proactively propose new ideas and campaigns
• Collaborate with the directors through regular check-ins to align content with business priorities
• Potential future scope: team member LinkedIn posts, community engagement, marketing collateral, website and brand support, and additional HR content

Required profile

• Proven social media management experience, especially LinkedIn
• Experience in B2B, recruitment, HR, professional services or agency environments is highly desirable
• Strong copywriting, content creation and visual design skills, with an eye for branding
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, in an informal, collaborative way
• Portfolio of previous social media work, including LinkedIn, Instagram, B2B content, graphics and ideally video or motion graphics
• Willingness to review competitor LinkedIn pages and possibly complete a trial task

• CapCut (preferred for video editing)
• AI proficiency is welcome for content ideation, copywriting and video creation
