About the role
The Service Technician (also referred to as Service Advisor) serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, professional experience throughout the vehicle repair process.
Key responsibilities
- Receive vehicles and accurately capture customer concerns.
- Prepare detailed repair orders and coordinate work with technicians.
- Provide customers with clear cost estimates and realistic timelines.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers during the repair cycle.
- Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards.
- Promote additional services that improve vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Ideally a Mechanical Engineer; at minimum a diploma in an automotive course or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a repairman is desirable.
- Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, good judgement and discretion.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
