Senior Tax Accountant (SEA Region)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance Team in Manila and become the trusted expert for tax matters across the SEA region. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance for the Asia portfolio while collaborating closely with various finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns for the Asia region, meeting all deadlines to avoid penalties.
• Develop and maintain tax data collection, analysis and reconciliation systems, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and tax schedules.
• Supervise tax audits with authorities, external auditors and legal advisors.
• Advise management on the tax impact of corporate strategies and new legislation.
• Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work and enforce adherence to evolving policies and standards.

Required profile

• 7+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑growing SME environment across APAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance with mandatory CPA qualification.
• Proactive, organized and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong communicator capable of building relationships across teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
• Experience with accounting systems.
