Senior Maintenance Specialist – Underground Mobile Equipment

About the role

OceanaGold is seeking a Senior Specialist – Maintenance for underground mobile equipment at its Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable operation of all underground mobile assets, supporting production targets and minimizing equipment downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and verify work orders, ensuring proper isolation and tagging compliance.
• Coordinate shift briefings with supervisors and lead hands to gather task information.
• Assist and coach supervisors and technicians in mechanical repair, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
• Oversee mobile and plant equipment upgrades, auto‑mine level setups, drive mapping, and reporting.
• Provide operator and maintenance personnel training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; licensed engineer is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years experience in underground mobile equipment maintenance, preferably with Sandvik mechanized mining equipment.
• Proven experience in motor‑vehicle mechanical and electrical work.
