Senior Landside Dispatch Specialist (Spanish)

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Senior Landside Dispatch Specialist who is fluent in Spanish to manage end‑to‑end dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge networks. The role ensures timely container movement, resolves exceptions, and drives continuous improvement in a global logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate container dispatch operations across multiple transport modes, guaranteeing on‑time delivery.
• Serve as point of contact for the team and act as backup to the team leader.
• Monitor shipment and container movements, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage daily interactions with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Oversee accessorial costs, equipment utilization, and container idling approvals.
• Maintain accurate operational records, system updates, and documentation for compliance.
• Identify process waste, propose improvements, and support cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot and resolve operational disruptions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in logistics or transport dispatch environments.
