Senior Buyer

About the role

The Senior Buyer will support the Category Manager by shaping sourcing strategies and ensuring they align with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s procurement policies. This role focuses on optimizing the supply base, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify stakeholder requirements and execute category plans.
• Optimize supply base, assimilate market knowledge, and apply analysis.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle – accreditation, onboarding, performance monitoring, and phase‑out.
• Ensure local sourcing practices comply with overall procurement policies.
• Partner with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders to drive process improvements.
• Deliver a robust, agile supplier network to meet current and future JFC needs.
• Lead cost‑reduction initiatives leveraging digital tools and business partnerships.
• Oversee supplier performance, innovation, sustainability, and supply resiliency.
• Lead a team and manage related projects and programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of end‑to‑end procurement experience (food category experience is a plus).
• Proven success supporting multi‑disciplinary, project‑led teams.
• Willingness to work in Ortigas, Pasig under a hybrid work setup.
