SAP ABAP Developer – S/4HANA & Fiori

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join the enterprise technology team of a global engineering, mining and industrial services leader. The role focuses on designing, building and supporting SAP S/4HANA solutions, including Fiori and UI5 applications, to enable digital transformation across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy SAP solutions using ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Create custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows and programs that meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain SAP Fiori applications to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
• Develop integrations between SAP and third‑party systems using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects within S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and deliver sustainable fixes.
• Prepare technical documentation, take part in code reviews and contribute to design discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5 and JavaScript development.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is an advantage.
