Retail Territory Manager

About the role

The Retail Territory Manager will drive sustainable growth across Shell’s network of mobility sites, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience while meeting sales, operational and service targets. You will partner with retail operators to improve performance, safety culture and compliance with Shell standards.

Key responsibilities

• Increase territory value, volume and brand equity while delivering best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Lead retailer performance against Customer Commitment and Sales & Operations goals, providing coaching and corrective action for under‑performing sites.
• Develop and execute Territory and Retailer Master Plans to optimise network performance.
• Promote HSSE compliance and Shell Business Principles across all sites.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by building staff capability and acting on feedback.
• Identify growth opportunities in fuels, convenience retail and lubricants and drive related initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance, review P&L statements and close gaps.
• Collaborate with internal functions such as Network, Marketing, Finance, HR and Supply.
• Manage pricing, competitor activity and marketing actions to maintain market responsiveness.
• Oversee site standards, expansion projects and inventory optimisation.

Required profile

• Up to 5 years of experience in sales, channel management or retail operations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to analyse P&L data.
• Proven ability to coach partners, drive performance and manage risk.
• Commitment to safety, HSSE standards and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
