Remote Inventory Planner for Fast‑Growing Ecommerce Brand

About the role

We are seeking a remote Inventory Planner to lead forecasting, replenishment and SKU‑level inventory management for a rapidly expanding ecommerce consumer brand. The role combines data‑driven planning with proactive supply‑chain coordination to ensure product availability and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, sell‑through trends and SKU performance; develop and maintain forecasts based on sales, seasonality, launches and promotions.
• Plan replenishment and reorder timing across product lines, ensuring optimal stock coverage.
• Analyze inventory movement, weeks of coverage and purchasing needs; produce reports and data‑driven recommendations.
• Track purchase orders, production schedules and inbound inventory; coordinate with suppliers and flag lead‑time risks.
• Work with freight providers and 3PL partners to manage inbound shipments, resolve discrepancies and keep system stock accuracy.
• Support product launches, campaigns and seasonal demand spikes by aligning inventory with marketing and sales plans.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in inventory, demand or supply‑chain planning, preferably in ecommerce.
• Proven track record with high‑SKU catalogs and fast‑growing, founder‑led brands.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP, inventory‑management or operational planning systems.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales and inventory data and spot risks early.
• Comfortable coordinating with suppliers, freight partners and 3PLs.
