Purchasing Associate – Remote (US Hours)

About the role

Eggs Unlimited is looking for a detail‑oriented Purchasing Associate to support its Logistics – Procurement department. This fully remote position works on US business hours and helps bridge the gap between sales, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support such as checking Ops Sheets and creating labels.
• Review and process order entries from customers, sales teams, and EDI systems.
• Verify product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Create and send purchase orders to suppliers, confirming details with sales.
• Enter purchase order data into company systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Assist in obtaining compliance paperwork and certificates required by carriers and suppliers.
• Communicate daily with suppliers about order status, shortages, substitutes, and changes, relaying information to sales, freight, and accounting teams.
• Update purchase orders promptly to reflect any changes.
• Support special projects and reporting as requested by management.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of administrative or clerical experience with strong data‑entry and documentation skills.
• Previous experience processing orders, including EDI system entries.
• Ability to verify product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Experience creating purchase orders and liaising with sales and suppliers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• US‑based logistics experience; willingness to work weekends as needed.
