Regional Sales Manager - Asia

About the role

Echodyne, which makes a compact solid-state true beam-steering radar used in autonomous vehicles, drones, border security, smart cities and airspace management, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join its fast-growing team. The role focuses on developing and growing business in Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and qualify new business opportunities in Southeast Asia and build a weekly sales forecast
• Develop the overall capture strategy and lead competitive assessments against competitors in the defence marketplace
• Build relationships with key decision-makers, defence integrators and resellers, and cultivate strategic partnerships
• Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives, run on-site product demonstrations and present at conferences and test sites
• Manage customer relationships after the sale to drive expansion and renewal
• Track closed deals and win-loss performance and share insights with the team

Required profile

• 5 years or more of full-cycle, complex field sales
• 2 years or more of experience selling into the defence sector
• Proven track record of capturing net new business across Asia and exceeding quota
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Required skills

• Selling into Asia-Pacific defence and security markets
• Forecasting, qualification and regional sales planning aligned with corporate strategy
• Presenting to executive-level stakeholders and managing large regional programs
• Desired: Bachelor's degree (engineering or science preferred, MBA a plus), experience selling physical security hardware and to integrators
