Regional Account Manager – North Luzon (Payments)

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is seeking a Regional Account Manager to lead merchant acquisition and relationship management across North Luzon. You will promote the company’s payment solutions, including POS terminals, QR payments and e‑wallet services, while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and onboard new merchants from diverse industries to adopt Coins’ payment solutions.
• Negotiate merchant discount rates, service agreements and other commercial terms.
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations and support teams to ensure smooth integration and ongoing merchant support.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for merchant issues and operational concerns.
• Monitor portfolio performance, transaction volumes and revenue growth, and propose upselling opportunities.
• Conduct regular market visits and business development activities throughout North Luzon.
• Stay updated on regional market trends, competitor activity and evolving customer needs in fintech and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development or account management within fintech, banking, payments or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record of closing deals, managing merchant portfolios and meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑driven, organized and able to cover the North Luzon region.
• Willingness to travel for field visits; Mandarin speaking skills are a plus.
