Business Development Head – Renewables, Energy & Industrial Projects

About the role

Bureau Veritas Philippines is looking for a highly driven Business Development Head to lead commercial growth across renewable energy, power generation, oil & gas, industrial infrastructure and energy transition sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Identify and secure new opportunities in renewable energy, power generation, oil & gas, and industrial infrastructure.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial discussions with key stakeholders.
• Oversee tendering, proposal preparation and coordination with technical teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, EPC contractors, investors, utilities and government agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 12‑15 years of progressive business development experience in renewables, oil & gas, power generation or industrial infrastructure.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role with a proven track record of securing large‑scale projects.
• Strong network within developers, EPC contractors, investors and government agencies in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

• Wind energy project knowledge.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) implementation.
• Green hydrogen and energy transition technologies.
• Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) services.
• Owner’s engineering, HSE and QA/QC inspection.
• Project management consultancy and technical advisory.
