Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations in our facility located in Zambales.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Execute welding, machining and fabrication tasks as required.
• Apply safety procedures such as LOTO and Permit‑to‑Work during all maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or a 2‑year technical vocational course.
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician in power or heavy‑industry environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to be based in Bani, Masinloc, Zambales.

Required skills

• Mechanical inspection, troubleshooting and repair.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints and manuals.
• Maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and rotating equipment.
• SMAW welding, machining and basic fabrication.
• Knowledge of LOTO and Permit‑to‑Work safety procedures.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and equipment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
