Control Board Operator

About the role

The Control Board Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of materials handling processes within a coal‑fired power plant. This role focuses on equipment inspections, start‑up and shutdown procedures, and adherence to safety standards during both normal and emergency conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement best practice procedures for safe and smooth operation of materials handling processes.
• Conduct equipment inspections and ensure safe operation during startup and shutdown, both normal and emergency situations.
• Manage and monitor the Computer Management Maintenance System (CMMS) for maintenance activities.
• Perform MV switching and operate switchgear in accordance with procedures.
• Read and follow equipment instructional manuals and operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related industrial field; professional license is a plus.
• Minimum two years experience in a coal‑fired power plant or completion of a cadetship program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe start‑up and shutdown operations.
• Positive attitude with strong advocacy for safety practices.
• Willingness to be assigned to Masinloc, Zambales, Philippines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computer Management Maintenance System (CMMS).
• Experience with MV switching and switchgear operation.
• Ability to interpret equipment manuals and operational documentation.
