Mechanical Engineer

About the role

WSP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its building‑project team. You will help shape mechanical system solutions from concept through construction, working on fast‑track and mission‑critical projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and integrate mechanical systems for building projects, covering design, tender preparation, and project administration.
• Attend site inspections, meetings, and collaborate with the Senior Mechanical Engineer on development and fast‑track initiatives.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders from concept design through detailed design and construction administration until project completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of engineering design experience with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
• Experience in engineering consulting or project management is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools.
