Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at CBRE, you will maintain small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing preventive maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute necessary repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion using the assigned system.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of all building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to resolve straightforward problems.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Capability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Clear communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
