Mechanical Engineer – Building Projects

About the role
WSP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its building‑projects team. You will work on design, tender preparation and project administration for a variety of construction projects, collaborating with senior engineers and diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and integrate mechanical systems for building projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare tender documents and support project administration activities.
- Attend site inspections, meetings and coordinate with the Senior Mechanical Engineer on fast‑track or mission‑critical projects.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases until project completion.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of engineering design experience with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Experience in engineering consulting or project management is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
