Materials QA Supervisor – Raw & Packaging Materials

About the role

The Materials QA Supervisor ensures that all raw and packaging materials meet the company’s quality and safety standards before they enter production, safeguarding supply‑chain integrity and preventing non‑conforming inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee acceptance of raw materials such as pineapple, papaya and nata de coco, as well as all ingredients.
• Manage acceptance of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 22000 certifications.
• Train and certify QA analysts and inspectors for raw and packaging material acceptance.
• Participate in R&D trials, validation and commercial runs for finished products and packaging.
• Support 5S and TPM initiatives within cannery operations and promote effective employee relations.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering or Sciences (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Microbiology or related fields).
• Experience in quality assurance covering laboratory work, raw and packaging material acceptance, auditing, GMP and sanitation.
• Proven ability to ensure adherence to food‑safety standards such as HACCP and GMP, and to meet regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cagayan de Oro on a six‑day workweek.
