Logistics and Inventory Officer

About the role

Smart Suites, a short-term rental business managing over 100 rooms across Brisbane, is hiring a Logistics and Inventory Officer. This is a full-time independent contractor position, not a permanent employee role, with work from anywhere in the Philippines. The schedule is flexible full-time, Monday to Sunday as required.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels across warehouse, storage and site locations
• Coordinate restocking of consumables cupboards and operational supply points
• Keep stock records accurate and supplies available where needed
• Schedule and track deliveries, dispatches, stock transfers and supply movements
• Prepare and manage pick-and-pack lists for new suites, replenishment runs and rollouts
• Support invoice matching, stock movement records and inventory documentation
• Track and coordinate warranty claims with suppliers
• Work with Operations, Logistics, Finance, onsite teams and vendors, and keep accurate trackers and status updates

Required profile

• Experience in inventory control, logistics coordination, warehouse support, procurement support or operations support
• Experience coordinating deliveries, schedules or supply movements
• Experience in hospitality, property operations, warehousing or short-term rentals is an advantage
• Proactive, dependable and solutions-oriented

Required skills

• Attention to detail, strong documentation and organizational skills
• Spreadsheets, trackers and digital systems; Zoho, Excel, Outlook, Teams or similar is a plus

What we offer

• Pay of AUD 1,300 - 1,600 per month, all-inclusive
• Health allowance of AUD 80 from the 6th month
• 80 hours of service break credits per year, available from the 6th month
