Linux System Administrator L2 – Mid Level

About the role

As a Linux SysAd L2 – Mid, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of Linux servers in an enterprise environment. You will ensure system stability, security and efficiency while applying automation best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Linux servers, applying updates and patches.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and file systems to maintain security.
• Monitor system performance, perform routine backups and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts.
• Document processes and follow best practices in system administration.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of Linux system administration experience in enterprise or production environments.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate and able to solve problems under pressure.
• Clear communicator who documents procedures for consistency.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving operational requirements.

Required skills

• Administration of Linux distributions.
• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and backup procedures.
• Scripting fundamentals in Bash or similar languages.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue‑resolution capabilities.
