Junior Java Developer

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join its development team. You will contribute to designing, building, testing and maintaining Java‑based solutions that support the company’s digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating technical design documents that describe system architecture, data models and key components.
• Write, review and maintain Java code following approved designs, using SpringBoot, WebFlux, GraphQL/REST APIs and AWS services.
• Perform functional testing and implement automated tests with Playwright (JavaScript) to ensure quality and reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, help deploy applications to production and monitor releases.
• Provide post‑deployment support, troubleshoot issues and apply bug fixes or updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Java, SpringBoot, REST/GraphQL APIs and AWS services.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, willingness to learn and good communication skills.
