Junior Backend Developer (Node.js & JavaScript)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Developer with 2–3 years of experience who can work across backend and frontend, focusing on JavaScript and Node.js. The role involves building integrations, working with APIs, and maintaining some legacy PHP applications in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Integrate, debug, and optimize APIs.
• Support frontend tasks with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Connect and automate systems across various SaaS platforms.
• Maintain and support existing PHP‑based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of development experience.
• Comfortable with JavaScript, Node.js and API communication.
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Willingness to work with legacy PHP code and CMS platforms.
• Proactive attitude, ownership and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Productive or Monday.
