Java Developer (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Java Developer to join our hybrid team in Cebu IT Park. You will work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Java applications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements and create or update functional specifications.
• Develop new features, fix bugs, and perform scratch development.
• Integrate third‑party libraries and APIs.
• Collaborate with customers directly and contribute to project design standards.
• Apply defensive coding practices and review code of junior developers.
• Work with testers to identify risk areas, write automated unit/integration tests, and support test‑environment setup.
• Perform manual testing when needed and write efficient SQL queries with proper JOINs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and GWT.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Printer or device software experience is a plus.
