Infection Control Nurse

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Infection Control Nurse position at Medical Center Parañaque Inc. focuses on monitoring, investigating and reporting healthcare‑associated infections. The role ensures timely implementation of control measures and supports a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance and audits in clinical areas to detect healthcare‑associated infections.
• Analyze infection data, prepare reports and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Support outbreak investigations and coordinate appropriate response actions.
• Develop, update and implement infection prevention and control policies in line with current guidelines.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices, hand hygiene and isolation protocols.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and support teams to maintain compliance with infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient and staff information.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in infection control and infectious diseases, preferably in a hospital or acute‑care setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; infection control certification or formal training is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret clinical and epidemiological data and prepare clear reports.
• Strong teaching, coaching and presentation abilities for staff education.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Parañaque and collaborate closely with clinical and non‑clinical departments.
