About the role
We are looking for an IBM WebSphere MQ Technical Lead to drive the design, development and configuration of messaging applications. The role serves as the primary technical point of contact for the team and stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for IBM WebSphere MQ and related technologies.
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of developers and support engineers.
- Make technical and delivery decisions, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee end‑to‑end application development, support and integration processes.
- Gather, analyse and validate requirements with stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality standards and budget.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges across teams.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Systems Administration, preferably in Mainframe MQ environments.
- Proven experience leading and managing development or support teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
