IBM Maximo Administrator

About the role

The IBM Maximo Administrator will ensure reliable operation, configuration, and support of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) for IBM Consulting clients. You will manage system environments, optimise performance, and provide both technical and functional assistance to business users while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee setup, configuration, and ongoing management of MAS environments, including user access, security roles, and system parameters.
• Handle MAS installations, upgrades, fix packs and maintain environment configuration.
• Build and customise applications, workflows, automation scripts and scheduled tasks within MAS.
• Monitor system performance, uptime and logs, diagnosing and resolving issues for business users.
• Manage integrations via the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), APIs and other platforms, partnering with infrastructure, cloud and database teams.
• Maintain documentation, configuration guidelines and operational procedures to meet security, audit and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience administering Maximo or MAS environments.
• Strong understanding of MAS architecture, including OpenShift‑based deployments and MongoDB.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and basic SQL for data validation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, support users and work collaboratively across teams.
