Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs across the organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership to ensure compliance, employee engagement, and strategic talent initiatives are effectively executed.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and recommend HR policies, objectives, and employee‑relation practices to foster a positive workplace.
• Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations, monitor compliance exposure, and approve related information.
• Establish wage and salary structures, performance appraisal systems, and benefit programs while controlling costs.
• Oversee recruiting, placement, and executive‑level interview processes.
• Direct in‑house management training programs and provide educational materials for line managers and employees.
• Conduct continuous analysis of HR policies, trends, and metrics to inform top management.
• Maintain communication with Operations Manager on significant HR issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Working knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree required; HR, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lb occasionally and sustain extended periods of sitting, speaking, and typing.
