Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will lead the implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs at the SM City San Fernando Downtown location. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures recruitment, compensation, employee relations and performance management are aligned with corporate standards and local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR operations and ensure they follow company policies and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding and deployment to guarantee smooth employee integration.
• Monitor performance management cycles, coordinate appraisal completion and maintain related documentation.
• Address employee concerns, drive engagement programmes and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate training, learning and talent‑management initiatives to boost employee growth and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in employee relations and compensation & benefits.
• Familiarity with HRIS and other HR systems.
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to engage with all organisational levels.
