About the role

The HR Assistant/Associate for Compensation and Benefits will support the design, evaluation, and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs. The role ensures these programs remain competitive, fair, and aligned with the organization’s objectives while assisting in the implementation of broader HR policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Review, update, and maintain compensation, benefits, and general HR policies.
  • Develop new compensation, benefits, and HR policy initiatives.
  • Design, evaluate, and manage employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Assist in implementing compensation, benefits, and general HR policies.
  • Review proposed collective bargaining agreement (CBA) packages.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, and policy making within a unionized environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated creative and analytical thinking.

Required skills

  • SAP-HCM.
  • SuccessFactors.
