HR Assistant – Payroll & Compensation

About the role

The HR Assistant will support payroll processing, compensation, and benefits administration while ensuring accurate HR documentation. This entry‑level position is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual looking to build a solid foundation in HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing payroll data, validating attendance records, and addressing payroll‑related queries.
• Process statutory benefits such as SSS EC, SSS Sickness, PhilHealth, and other government filings.
• Coordinate documentation for hospitalization assistance and manage employee allowances (referral incentives, uniform issuance, birthday benefits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and support HR‑related orientations and trainings.
• Support implementation of OSA Management Systems and other HR compliance requirements.
• Perform additional HR tasks and special assignments as directed by the HR Supervisor/Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in HR, payroll, or compensation & benefits is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Highly organized, trustworthy, detail‑oriented with strong ethics and professionalism.
