Marine Operations Manager

About the role

The Marine Operations Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the day‑to‑day running of a fleet of eight to ten ships, coordinating with captains, crew members, and shore‑based support to ensure smooth vessel performance. The role also includes planning and delivering training sessions and conducting operational audits on seven to nine ships to maintain safety and compliance standards. By maintaining close oversight of vessel operations and fostering continuous improvement through training and audits, the manager helps ensure the fleet operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for daily operations of 8‑10 vessels.
• Coordinate with crew, captains, and support staff to address operational issues.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate training programs for 7‑9 ships.
• Perform operational audits focusing on safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports on operational status, training outcomes, and audit findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing day‑to‑day operations of multiple vessels.
• Experience conducting training and operational audits in a maritime environment.
