Houseman – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

As a Houseman at Hilton Manila Newport World Resort, you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness that define the guest experience. You will work across public areas and support the housekeeping team to ensure every visitor enjoys a spotless environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep public areas spotless—including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces—by dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, washing windows, and emptying trash.
• Greet guests warmly, deliver requested items, and assist with room cleaning as needed.
• Stock and organize supply rooms to support efficient housekeeping operations.
• Perform periodic deep‑cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
• Identify and report repair or maintenance issues to ensure the property remains well‑kept.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar hospitality housekeeping role.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, ownership, and a passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Proficiency in operating housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, etc.).
• Understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning operations.
