Handyman / Carpenter – Skilled Construction Professional

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Handyman/Carpenter to join our team and handle a variety of construction and maintenance tasks across our facilities. The successful candidate will use their extensive carpentry experience to fabricate, install, and repair wooden structures, as well as perform general upkeep and minor building works.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, install and repair wooden structures, furniture, cabinets, doors, windows and partitions.
• Conduct general maintenance and repair of company facilities, including fixtures, walls, ceilings, flooring and other building components.
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble materials according to specifications.
• Install hardware such as locks, hinges, handles and door closers.
• Perform painting, patching and minor masonry work as needed.
• Inspect facilities to identify repair and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• At least a high school graduate.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Minimum 13 years of experience in carpentry or a related construction role.
• Hardworking, reliable and willing to work on‑site.

Required skills

• Roofing repair and leak repair.
• Proficiency with basic carpentry and construction tools.
• Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling wood.
• Hardware installation (locks, hinges, handles, door closers).
• Painting and minor masonry.
