Group Tax Specialist – Tax Compliance & Reporting

About the role

The Group Tax Specialist will ensure that all companies within the Monark Group meet their tax obligations accurately and on time. This role combines compliance oversight, reporting, and audit support to maintain a strong tax culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review and oversee tax compliance for all group companies.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of national and local taxes.
• Prepare and file tax returns with precise calculations and reporting.
• Record tax expenses and liabilities to keep financial statements accurate.
• Facilitate internal and external tax audits.
• Submit all reportorial and compliance requirements within deadlines.
• Promote tax awareness among employees to strengthen compliance culture.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, aligning the group with BIR and LGU requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS in Accountancy.
• At least two (2) years of solid experience in audit and taxation from a reputable firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting standards.
• Well‑versed in BIR and LGU regulations.
