About the role
We are partnering with a leading fintech company to hire an experienced Fullstack Java Engineer for their Manila team. The role involves developing and maintaining enterprise applications while collaborating with senior members.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and test applications based on functional and technical specifications, delivering quality solutions.
- Analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and assess scope, risks, and effort estimates.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot defects, and provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Support legacy data migration initiatives and assist with ad‑hoc project tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise application development.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or related software providers is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (8+) including Core Java and Java EE.
- Extensive experience with Spring (MVC, Boot, Security, Batch), Hibernate, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, and Sybase.
- Web development skills with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and frameworks like Angular, React or jQuery.
- Familiarity with application servers (WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly) and Windows/Linux environments.
