Software Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Support Engineer to maintain and improve the reliability of Cubic³’s software platform, supporting IoT and automotive solutions. You will act as the bridge between development teams and customers, diagnosing and resolving complex software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of complex software issues, collaborating with developers to fix bugs and performance problems.
• Monitor system performance using tools such as New Relic and DataDog, respond to alerts, and ensure high uptime.
• Perform deep analysis of recurring incidents, identify root causes, and implement long‑term solutions.
• Coordinate incident response across development, App Support, and DevOps teams to minimise customer impact.
• Document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles in JIRA.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software support or development, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership of critical incidents and see them through to resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• C# and .NET full‑stack development.
• Microsoft Azure cloud services, including monitoring and alerting.
• SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB).
• APM tools such as New Relic and DataDog.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
