Director of People & Culture (Hybrid)

About the role

As the most senior HR leader at GoTeam, you will shape the experience of over 1,200 employees in Cebu City and across the Philippines. Reporting directly to the President, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution to drive culture, compliance and data‑informed decision‑making in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and nurture GoTeam’s culture, ensuring alignment with company values and employee experience.
• Oversee full‑lifecycle HR functions including recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
• Lead investigations, disciplinary actions and exit interviews, translating insights into retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor law (DOLE, Labor Code) and international employment standards.
• Build and scale HR systems, leveraging HRIS platforms and analytics to create dashboards and workforce reports.
• Partner with senior leadership as a trusted advisor and drive AI‑enabled HR transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years as HR Manager in a BPO or tech‑enabled environment.
• Previous experience in a Director or Head of People role, reporting to C‑level executives.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine labor regulations and exposure to multi‑site or international HR.
• Proven track record of building or redesigning an HR function from the ground up.

Required skills

• HRIS platforms: Sprout HR, BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors.
• HR analytics and reporting tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• AI and HR‑tech fluency, including self‑directed learning platforms.
• Lean or Six Sigma methodology for scalable HR processes.
• Relevant HR certifications (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHRi, CHRP, etc.).
