DevOps Tools Developer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Tools Developer to design, build and maintain internal tools and automations that boost reliability, observability and operational efficiency across Kambi’s Philippines hub. You will collaborate with multiple teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and support mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards and automation scripts for various engineering and operations teams.
• Provide technical support for tools and systems used across local and remote offices, diagnosing issues and coordinating fixes.
• Create and manage monitoring dashboards, metrics, alerts and health‑checks using Grafana and Zabbix.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot applications and servers, and handle escalations.
• Integrate third‑party services such as Jira, Confluence and Slack to automate workflows.
• Automate infrastructure tasks with Puppet, Bash scripts and cloud services (AWS Lambda, IAM, Cognito, SES).
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, runbooks and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Experience providing local or remote IT support.
• Intermediate Linux knowledge (Ubuntu/Debian).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
