Corporate Social Media Moderator

About the role

3M is looking for a Social Media Moderator to join its Global Service Center in the Philippines. You will help maintain a safe, respectful online environment across multiple platforms while collaborating with innovative teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review, respond to, and moderate comments and direct messages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social channels.
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior management or specialized teams.
• Ensure all content complies with community guidelines, legal policies and platform standards.
• Identify and flag inappropriate content such as hate speech, offensive language, graphic images or spam.
• Stay up‑to‑date with community standards, policies and emerging trends.
• Provide feedback to improve moderation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (verified before start).
• Minimum two years of experience in social media moderation, community management or a related field.
• Strong written and reading skills in English and the assigned local language.
• Legal authorization to work in the Philippines without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Familiarity with moderation platforms such as Sprinklr or Sprout Social.
• Excellent attention to detail and quick decision‑making.
• Understanding of internet culture, trends and online behavior.
• Basic knowledge of legal issues related to online content (e.g., copyright, harassment).
